Australian Government Rebate

The Australian Government's Energy Efficient Homes Package is a $3.9 billion package to improve the energy rating of Australian homes, saving up to 40% of a household's energy bill.
This non-means tested package includes up to $1,200 for households. The initiative targets homes with very little or no existing ceiling insulation.

If you are a home owner-occupier, you can apply for the ceiling insulation assistance and you may also be eligible for assistance under the Low Emission Assistance Plan for Renters. Under the Low Emission Assistance Plan for Renters landlords and tenants are eligible for assistance under the Plan and may also be eligible for the ceiling insulation assistance for your own home.
